Continued commitment to uploading peer-developed, consensus-based standards

Maintaining FACT accreditation requires a commitment to complying with FACT Standards, making updates and improvements as needed, and reporting certain information to FACT.

General Requirements (Clinical, Collection, Processing, and Banking Facilities)

Cellular Therapy programs and affiliated facilities: 

  • Continue to comply with all current Standards under which your program is accredited

  • Maintain all required licenses, registrations, and accreditation 

  • Complete and submit the FACT annual Report and annual accreditation fee

  • Report significant changes to the FACT Office within 90 days, including:

    • Relocating all or part of the program to a new or uninspected building

    • Reorganizing previously inspected space or annexing contiguous space

    • Expanding services, such as:

      • Adding allogeneic services to an autologous program

      • Adding adult services to a pediatric program or pediatric services to an adult program

      • Adding new or additional clinical, collection, or processing services

    • Changing the program name

    • Changing the Program Director or other Facility Director

    • Ownership changes or mergers between accredited organizations

    • Government-mandated organizational changes

    • Changes caused by natural disasters
